Silver Coast Winery Wilde Prairie Winery Middle Oak Wines P. Harrell
Who: Paula Harrell caught the entrepreneurial spark at an early age—inspired by her parents, who’d ascended their working-class roots to launch a thriving Bay Area real estate business. After earning an MBA from San Francisco State University, Paula set out to run the family business, a venture that soon unfolded into a fruitful career in investing and finance. Through it all, she couldn’t shake the winemaking dream that had dawned on her during a trip to Spain. After years of working and planning, she launched P. Harrell Wines in 2015.
Seagrape Cellars Rolling Forks Vineyards

Rolling Forks Vineyard is nestled among the billowing prairies and undulating hills of Glenwood, Minn., overlooking the breathtaking Lake Minnewaska. It’s where Joe and Melanie Cihlar’s passion for creating Minnesota-made wine first took root in 2010. More than a decade later, 18 acres of cold-hardy vines produce grapes for a delicious, distinctive family of wines that pair perfectly with good company and unforgettable moments. You’ll fall in love–again and again!–with these award-winning wines at the winery or in the comfort of home.

La Cienega Vineyard Trestle 31 Wander + Ivy Sonoma Rising

It’s been two years since we launched Woman-Owned Wineries in the aftermath of a Sonoma County firestorm. Now, the area has been struck again. We in Sonoma County are a dedicated lot and we love our work! Show us you love it too by ordering bottles from the following list of wines from local female vintners. Many of the business owners here were directly impacted by wildfires.

We  appreciate similar lists that have been circulated. Some have lacked gender representation, so we’re here to help strike a balance.

In addition to ordering directly from these wineries, please consider signing up for our next Woman-Owned Wineries wine club shipment, which will benefit Wine Empowered, the new nonprofit educational endeavor for women and minorities.

Thank you for your support!
