Ser means “to be” in the Spanish language. In her wines, winemaker Nicole Walsh works to express the true being of each grape variety. A native of Michigan, Nicole studied horticulture before working with Randall Grahm at Bonny Doon Vineyard in Santa Cruz County. In the two decades since, Nicole has held every position in wine production, from associate winemaker to vineyard manager to grower relations manager. These days, she operates Ser Winery and produces varietal-specific, vineyard-designate wines primarily from the Central Coast and Central California.

Cary Q Wines

Cary Q Wines is a Hispanic-owned winery handcrafting small lots of California wines that inspire! Born and raised in Miami of Cuban descent, Cary Quintana has been living and working in  the California industry for 8 years. She works with meticulously farmed sites that highlight organically and sustainably grown fruit, and seeks out conscientious growers and unique microclimates to attain site-specificity. A minimalist at heart, Cary produces low intervention wines with philosophies that encourage the purest expression of site, varietal, and vintage. Her curiosity and love for Grenache, Mourvedre, and Iberian varietals like Graciano and Tempranillo are particular passions in her vineyard-designate bottlings.
