For the Love

Showcasing the beauty of the Santa Rita Hills and the fruits of loving collaboration, Camins 2 Dreams is an exciting new project from Spanish winemaker Mireia Taribo Tena and Chumash Native American winemaker Tara Gomez.

Hailing from Catalunya, Mireia earned a Masters Degree in Enology and Viticulture from the University of Rovira and Virgili. She went on to work in wine production at Castell d’Encus, a boutique winery in the Pyrenees Mountains of Spain. Meanwhile, Tara, who grew up tasting wines with her parents along California’s Central Coast, earned an enology degree from University of California Fresno. Later, Tara launched Kíta Wines, sourcing fruit from Chumash land and receiving acclaim for her work in Wine Enthusiast and beyond.

The couple met while working in the wine industry, and launched Camins 2 Dreams from a shared love of winemaking and for one another.
